Henry Herbert only buys his suitings and coatings wools from English (or Scottish) mills, including Holland & Sherry, Harrisons, Scabal, Dormeuil & Dugdale Brothers. His shirting fabrics come from one of the last remaining English shirting mills, Acorn Fabrics in Lancashire. When choosing your fabric, the tailor should always clearly tell you the source of your fabric. He should also tell you where your garments are being made….if he doesn’t, ask him!
Henry Herbert uses a range of Super 70′s – Super 160′s wools in the suits and overcoats he makes. But what exactly is a Super wool fabric? Wikipedia give an excellent and detailed description here.
Henry Herbert suits start from £595 for a pure, English wool suit and Henry Herbert shirts start from £89 for a pure English cotton. Just click on the link below to see the full price list of all our suits, shirts, overcoats and waistcoats.
Henry Herbert take 8-10 weeks to make his bespoke suits and overcoats and 4 weeks for his tailored shirts, with a number of fittings during this period. However, if you need your bespoke shirts or bespoke suits in a hurry, you may want to try our Express Service.
